ACTIVITY
Anne Lindberg has challenged herself to create very fine lines both in her drawings and in her installations. These installations explore the light, architecture, color and lines in a space. Can you challenge yourself to create a different kind of line? A bold line, a zig-zag line, a curved line, a spiral line, etc. What does this line look like on paper and how does it change when you create it as a three-dimensional object? What will you use to create this line in space? (i.e. yarn, wire, cords, strands of hair, vines, tubes, etc.) Where will you install your line installation? How do the lines interact with the space? How does the viewer interact with the lines that you have created? How does the light interact with the installation? Consider all of these elements as you create your line installation.
