VISUAL REFERENCES
1. Garden Installation (on-going), (1993) by Winifred Lutz
2. Music for a Garden, (1996) by Rolf Julius
ACTIVITY
Find a community garden or green space in your neighborhood. Research this space and ask neighbors about it. What existed there before the garden? Who takes care of the garden or green space? What kinds of plants are in the garden? Create a project specifically for the garden, in the same way that Rolf Julius created his sound piece for Winifred Lutz’s Garden Installation. Contact someone who takes care of the garden and find out if you can install this piece in the garden.
