ACTIVITY
Make a black light box by covering the inside of a box with black paper, cut two round holes in the box, one on the side (for viewing) and one on top (to put the black light flashlight through). (If you want to create a large black light room – you can put two desks or tables on top of one another. Drape each with a black tablecloth or opaque black paper.) Create a collage or sculpture using recycled and varied materials. Place it in the black light box, close up the box or the room and look at it under the black light flashlight. How does it look different? What colors are glowing? Make adjustments and changes to your artwork to make it glow more or less under the black light.
